Meet Commissioner Kristie Tenney

MY FAMILY

I have been married to J.P. Tenney for 28 years. He is employed as a Principal at Elkins Mountain School & WV Children's Home. He has also been a coach in Upshur County for 20 years.
We have a daughter, Julie, and a son, Brandon.
I am also "Nana" to five beautiful grandchildren, with one more on the way this spring!
Julie & her husband, Logan, are parents to Lazarus, Lillian & Ezekiel. Their fourth child is due in March!
Brandon & his wife, Erica, are parents to Evelynn & Warren.

I have been a small business owner since 2012! I own & operate Top Line Apparel here in Upshur County. We design & produce custom apparel, including hats, shirts & sweatshirts!
I have served as your County Commissioner in District 3 since 2019.
I participate on several boards, including:

- RMPB Board set by the Governor
- Local FRN Board
- Mt. Cap
- Region VII
